A dangerous driver who killed a woman in a high-speed crash on the M2 motorway near Faversham has been jailed for over 12 years.
Sensenal Amaglo, 42, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, 12 May 2025 after admitting to causing death by dangerous driving. The court heard how Amaglo’s Mercedes C-Class was travelling at more than 120mph when it struck another car on 27 November 2022, instantly killing the female driver.
The entire collision was recorded on Amaglo’s own dashcam.

Crash Details and Police Response
The crash occurred on the London-bound carriageway of the M2 between junctions 6 and 5, in lane one. Emergency services rushed to the scene, where a woman in her 50s was pronounced dead at the roadside.
Amaglo, found still in his vehicle, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A complex investigation by Kent Police’s serious collision unit led to formal charges. Although Amaglo initially pleaded not guilty, he later changed his plea.
Sentencing and Driving Ban
The court handed down a sentence of 12 years and three months in prison. Amaglo will serve a minimum of eight years and two months before he is eligible for parole.
He has also been banned from driving for 10 years following his release.
A separate charge of causing death by careless driving while unfit through drink or drugs was ordered to remain on file.
Detective: ‘Tragic consequences of appalling driving’
Detective Constable Sara Capozzi, who led the investigation, said:
“Amaglo’s driving that morning was truly appalling and resulted in the most tragic of consequences. I hope the custodial sentence offers him time to reflect on his thoughtless and grossly irresponsible actions.”
She added:
“I would like to thank the witnesses whose evidence helped secure this conviction and ensure this dangerous driver was put behind bars for several years.”
