Police have confirmed that a woman and her three children died in a devastating fire in Tillett Close, Stonebridge, during the early hours of Saturday morning. A man has been arrested, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the tragedy.
Speaking at the scene, Superintendent Steve Allen of the Metropolitan Police’s North West London team provided an update on the incident:
“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, I can confirm a woman and three of her children died at the scene. Two other family members were taken to hospital and are receiving treatment.”
