Reckless Driving Caught on Camera
The drama began on Cathall Road when a suspect’s car sped the wrong way around <a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%%%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%%/the-green/”><a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_6%%the Green Man roundabout, heading into oncoming traffic on the A12. A police helicopter tracked the dangerous pursuit from above.
In a stun move, a passenger leapt from the car mid-chase, swapped places with the driver, and the vehicle lurched wildly through traffic.
One shocked driver managed to film the white car weaving dangerously between lanes at high speed.
Chase Ends in Crash, Injuries & Arrest
The chase slammed to a halt near %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_7%%-england/”>scotland/the-green/”><a href=”https:///uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_8%%<a href=”https:///uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_9%%the Green Man roundabout at about 4.40pm when the suspect's car crashed into a police vehicle.
Traffic was gridlocked as bystanders took pictures of the wreckage – showing heavy damage to two police cars and the white suspect vehicle.
Two officers were hurt, with one suffering a suspected fractured arm. The driver and two passengers were treated in hospital as a precaution.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in custody.

"At approximately 16:22hrs on Tuesday, 10 June a pursuit was authorised after a car made off from police on Cathall Road, E11.
"At approximately 16:38hrs, the car collided with a police vehicle on the A12 near the Green Man Roundabout, E11.
"The <a href=”https:///uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.<a href=”https:///www.uknip.co.%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_10%% Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade, and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.
"The driver and two passengers of the car were taken to hospital as a precaution. The driver of the car has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
"Two officers were also taken to hospital, one with a suspected fractured arm. Enquiries continue."
