A 60-year-old man faces a battery of charges after a spate of thefts in Canterbury, Thanet, and Swale left retailers fuming.

£2,000 Worth of Goods Stolen

Kent Police launched investigations after multiple reports of stolen goods from grocery stores like ASDA, Tesco in Ramsgate, and BP in Margate between 5 August and 26 September 2025.

Fuel Theft Adds to the Tab

On top of shop thefts, drivers made off without paying for fuel at petrol stations across Canterbury, Herne Bay, Ramsgate, Margate, and Sittingbourne. The fuel thefts totalled about £260.

The Sittingbourne resident was hit with 21 counts of theft and two driving offences the next day.
