Two drug dealers caught operating from a vulnerable person's property in Thanet have been slapped with hefty jail terms.

Caught Red-Handed in Ramsgate County Lines Sting

Deeq Mohammed, 20, and Patrick George, 29, pleaded guilty to dealing class A drugs in Ramsgate between June and July 2025.

On 14 July, police on patrol spotted suspicious activity near Hardres Street. Mohammed was seen slipping into a nearby house. When officers arrived, George was waiting outside as Mohammed exited through the back door.

Heavy Haul and Cash Seized in Dramatic Arrest

  • Officers found bags of heroin and crack cocaine on George.
  • Mohammed was carrying cash and a mobile phone.
  • The house's vulnerable occupant was also discovered inside.
  • Police seized more drugs-related items and a second phone linked to George.

Mohammed, from Westvale Mews, Acton, London, and George, who has no fixed address, were arrested on the spot.

Lengthy Sentences to Hit County Lines Dealers

Phone checks exposed their involvement in a county lines drug operation. Both men were charged the next day.

At Canterbury Crown Court on 9 October, George got two years and eight months for possession with intent to supply heroin and crack.

Mohammed was detained for four years and eight months in a young offenders' institution for being involved in the drug supply.

Detective Sergeant Rachel Seymour said: "Drugs misuse brings nothing but misery to communities and particularly to those who are vulnerable to exploitation. The dealers are the root of the problem, and we will continue to stamp out their illegal activity by taking drugs off the street, disrupting the supply lines and ensuring criminals such as George and Mohammed are made to face the consequences of their actions."
