Haja Bockarie, 24, from Erith, has admitted stealing cash from her employer. She pleaded guilty to two counts of theft at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
The £180 Theft Spree
Court details revealed Bockarie took £60 from the store’s till on August 28. Just two weeks later, she swiped an additional £120 on September 12.
Waiting for Sentence
She’s now on unconditional bail ahead of her sentencing hearing set for January 15 at the same court. A probation officer will prepare a pre-sentence report to guide the judge’s decision.
The case shines a spotlight on employee theft, with authorities ready to crack down on such offences.
