A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a man at a home in Longhedge.
Alfie Miller, of Willow Drive, Durrington, was brought before Swindon Magistrates %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% yesterday (6 May) charged with the killing of Darren Hughes, 52, who was found deceased inside a property on Davies Road on Friday (3 May).
Miller has been remanded in custody and is set to make his next appearance at %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% Crown Court tomorrow (7 May).
%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% have confirmed that specialist officers are supporting Mr Hughes’ devastated family, who have asked for privacy as they grieve their loss.
Residents in Longhedge can expect to see a continued heavy police presence in the area over the coming days as %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%%.
