A woman has been charged with murder following the tragic death of two-year-old Eliza Ngaba.
Sarah Ngaba, 30, currently an inmate at HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire, has been formally charged in connection with Eliza's death at the Princess Royal Hospital in %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% on August 15, 2022.
Ngaba is scheduled to appear before Telford Magistrates’ %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% on Tuesday, May 6, where she will face the murder charge.
In a %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% matter, Ngaba had previously been convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent in November 2020. She was handed a 14-year custodial %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% for that offence.
%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% Mercia Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Eliza's death.
