Labour MP Mike Amesbury has been charged with common assault after an alleged incident involving a 45-year-old man on Main Street in Frodsham, Cheshire, last month. %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% confirmed that Amesbury, 55, will appear in magistrates court later today to face the charge.
