A Lewisham police officer was targeted with vile threats in a chilling phone call on May 26, 2023. The anonymous caller screamed: “I’m going to burgle your house. I’m going to f*** you up. I’m going to f*** your partner up you Italian c***.”
The abuse didn’t stop there. The caller taunted: “You work for the police, yeah. I will f***ing burgle your house and rape your girl.” Dark and disturbing words that sent shockwaves through the force.
Caller Traced to Fellow Officer
The bombshell twist? The threatening call came from a number linked to PC Oscar Yustos-Morales — a colleague of the victim. A misconduct hearing revealed the ugly truth.
Cop Denies Calls But Blocks Probe
Two weeks later, PC Yustos-Morales denied making the call but refused to provide an alibi or his phone’s PIN. Investigators hit a wall, unable to check his device. The dodgy behaviour worsened when he evaded further inquiries and ultimately quit the force.
‘Irresistible Conclusion’ of Guilt
“It is notable that whoever made the call to Officer A had knowledge of the Lewisham Borough Crime Reference number – the borough which both officers worked out of at the time.” — Commander Jason Prins
“On my view of the facts, I am drawn to the irresistible conclusion that former PC Yustos-Morales participated in the call as outlined in the allegation.”
Commander Prins ruled that had Yustos-Morales still been serving, he would have been axed immediately. Instead, the ex-cop is now blacklisted on the College of Policing’s barred list — banned from ever working as a police officer in the UK again.
