Earlier this evening, a significant emergency response was initiated at Canning Town Station following reports of a serious medical incident on the platform. The Metropolitan Police, supported by the London Ambulance Service and British Transport Police, swiftly arrived at the scene.

Armed officers, who are also advanced trained paramedics, were among the first responders, providing immediate assistance. Additional paramedics and incident response units from the London Ambulance Service were also present to manage the situation.

Eyewitnesses reported a large emergency presence on the station concourse during the incident. Details regarding the nature of the medical emergency have not been disclosed at this time.
