A man has been charged following a fatal collision on the M27.

Shortly after 12.30pm on Wednesday 21 February, we received reports of a serious multi-vehicle collision at junction five of the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%.

The collision involved a Mercedes lorry, Nissan Juke and Volkswagen Polo.

Sadly the driver of the lorry, 36-year-old Michal Kaminski from %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%%, Wiltshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ross Alex Neiland, 38, from %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while uninsured, causing death while unfit through drink or drugs, and driving without a licence.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% on 1 November.

Kerry Ann Pearce, 40, of Beach Road in Littlehampton, was charged with failing to provide a specimen and appeared at %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% Magistrates Court on 7 October.

She pleaded guilty and was handed a 12 month disqualification and £30 fine.
