A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after the fatal stabbing of Ali Faris Muhammad, 26, in Brent, the police/" title="Metropolitan Police" rel="nofollow">Metropolitan Police have confirmed.
William Amadi, of Barnet, was formally charged on Friday, 23 May, in connection with the incident, which occurred during the early hours of Sunday, 18 May.
Details of the Incident
At approximately 03:31 hrs, police and the London Ambulance Service were called to Kingsbury Road, NW9, following reports of a stabbing. The victim, Ali Faris Muhammad, was discovered with a stab wound and transported to hospital.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, Ali sadly died from his injuries. His next of kin are being supported by specialist officers from the Met.
Arrest and Court Appearance
Amadi was arrested on Thursday, 22 May, and subsequently remanded in custody. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 24 May.
A murder investigation remains ongoing, led by Metropolitan Police detectives.
A Met spokesperson said: “We are continuing our investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward. Our thoughts remain with Ali’s family at this time.”
