Andrew Collins, 35, from Ealing, has been found guilty of raping a woman in Slough. The verdict came after a six-day trial at Reading Crown Court on Monday (17/11), following a thorough investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Grim Evening in Slough Town Centre
The incident happened between 6pm and 7pm on November 12, 2024. CCTV showed Collins, then 34, stalking the victim through Slough Town Centre. He gave her his contact details and later met her again that evening. Collins supplied the victim with alcohol before committing the attack.
Justice Pending: Sentencing Set for January
Although found guilty of one count of vaginal rape, Collins was acquitted of oral rape and sexual assault by penetration charges. He was arrested on November 19 and charged the next day. Collins remains in custody and is due back at Reading Crown Court on January 16, 2026, for sentencing.
