Detectives are appealing for information following a serious collision in Lambeth that has left a man fighting for his life.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.20pm on Wednesday, 18 December, on Kennington Lane, SE11. Officers arrived at the scene to find a collision involving a motorbike and a pedestrian.

Injuries and Response

  • The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
  • His family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
  • The motorbike rider stopped at the scene and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.


Road Closures and Investigation

Road closures remain in place on Kennington Lane as investigators from the Roads and Transport Policing Command continue their examination of the scene.

Appeal for Information

Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police by calling 101, quoting CAD 4458/18Dec.
