A prolific shoplifter in Dagenham has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) after repeatedly targeting local businesses.
Repeat Offender Sentenced
Saad Ashor, 39, was arrested and charged with multiple shoplifting offences in December 2024. His long %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% of thefts led to him being identified as one of the main offenders in the area by the local community.
The %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% successfully applied for a CBO against Ashor, which was issued at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on 24 January 2025. The order bans him from parts of %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% for the next three years.
Additional Penalties
In addition to the behaviour order, Ashor was:
- Fined £80
- Ordered to pay £140 in compensation costs
