Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious road traffic collision (RTC) involving a trapped person on Chigwell Road at the junction with Maybank Road, South Woodford, E18, late Friday evening.
Firefighters Rescue Trapped Individual
At aroun 9:25pm, 16 May 2025, the London Fire Brigade was called to reports of a collision involving a vehicle with a person trapped inside. Crews worked swiftly to free the occupant, while %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% secured the area and those involved were treated by Paramedics from the London Ambulance service.

The incident took place near Maybank Road and Chigwell Road, prompting an immediate %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% rescue unit that contains specialists cutting equipment with firefighters confirmed to have successfully rescued the person from the vehicle.
