A suspected car thief has been arrested after a dramatic police chase through multiple back gardens in Kingstanding, shortly after officers spotted a cloned vehicle that had been stolen from Stourbridge.

Road Crime Team officers identified the cloned car in %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% a short time after the theft and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the driver refused to comply, leading to a brief pursuit.

The %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% decamped from the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot, running through several back gardens in an effort to evade capture. Officers, however, were in close pursuit and managed to detain the suspect after a short chase.
