A 16-year-old boy is in custody after a series of vehicles were set ablaze across Thanet in the early hours of Wednesday.
Chaos on Margate and Broadstairs Streets
Kent Police responded to four separate car fires on Edgar Road and Northdown Road in Margate, plus Upton Road in Broadstairs, shortly before dawn on 8 October.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service quickly doused the flames each time, with no injuries reported.
Arson Investigation Underway
The suspicious fires have sparked a full arson probe. Officers arrested the teenager on Upton Road at 7:11am the same day. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
