A 16-year-old boy is in custody after a series of vehicles were set ablaze across Thanet in the early hours of Wednesday.
Chaos on Margate and Broadstairs Streets
police/" title="Kent Police" rel="nofollow">Kent Police responded to four separate car fires on Edgar Road and Northdown Road in Margate, plus Upton Road in Broadstairs, shortly before dawn on 8 October.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service quickly doused the flames each time, with no injuries reported.
Arson Investigation Underway
The suspicious fires have sparked a full arson probe. Officers arrested the teenager on Upton Road at 7:11am the same day. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
