Weapons including samurai swords, nunchucks, and an extendable baton were seized from the home of a Tonbridge drug dealer, police have revealed.

Daniel Bruford, 27, is now awaiting sentencing after being convicted within 24 hours of the search, which took place at his property in Mount Pleasant Court, Hildenborough.

Police Search

Officers entered the residence during the early hours of Friday, 27 September 2024, uncovering a cache of weapons that also included machetes and a spear. In addition to the arsenal, police also discovered a quantity of cocaine and £1,000 in cash.

Bruford was charged with multiple offences and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day. He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possessing criminal property (namely the cash seized), and possessing offensive weapons.

Following his court appearance, Bruford was remanded in custody. A date for his sentencing has yet to be determined.
