West Mercia Police have charged a man with murder following a fatal incident in Shrewsbury last week.

Kai Sainz-Stafford, aged 24 and of no fixed abode, remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 5 May.

The charge relates to an incident late on Thursday, 1 May, when emergency services were called to Lambourn Drive, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% at around 11:58pm.
A 34-year-old man was %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%.

%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% Mercia Police continue to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Sainz-Stafford is expected to make his first appearance at Kidderminster Magistrates’ %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_6%% where the case will likely be referred to the Crown Court for further hearings.
