Heathrow Car Park on Fire
Four fire engines and about 25 firefighters have been scrambled to tackle a vehicle fire in a multi-storey car park/”>park at england/%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%/heathrow/”>heathrow/”>Heathrow Airport.
Terminal Tunnel Shut
The %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%%main tunnel leading to terminals 1, 2, and 3 is currently closed as crews wales/%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%/Battlebattle-wales/”>battle-wales/”>battle/”>battle to control the blaze.
Rapid Response from Fire Brigade
The Brigade's Control Officers received the first of eight calls about the fire at 9.04am. Firefighters from Heathrow, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%%, and %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% stations were immediately dispatched.
Cause Still Unknown
The cause of the fire remains a mystery as investigation continues.
