A 71-year-old woman has been charged following a crash in Petts Wood that left a man seriously injured.

On the afternoon of August 15 last year, emergency services rushed to Station Square, Petts Wood, after a car crashed into a fence. A man involved was seriously hurt and taken to hospital.

Yvonne Ornstein, of Buttermere Road, Orpington, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 29.
She was charged with causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving while behind the wheel of a Mercedes Kompressor. No plea was taken, and the case was sent to Croydon crown-court/" title="Crown Court" rel="nofollow">Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing next month.
