Emergency services responded to an incident in Shinewater Park, Eastbourne, on the evening of 14th February 2025, at approximately 6:00 PM.
The incident prompted a multi-agency %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%, involving South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb), East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS), Sussex Police, and the Coastguard helicopter from Lydd.
As a result of the emergency operation, the A22 Golden Jubilee Way was temporarily closed for about an hour, before one lane was reopened to %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%%. The Coastguard helicopter later returned to its base in %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%.
It is believed the incident involved a man who sustained a leg injury, though further details are yet to be confirmed. Emergency services have been contacted for additional information.
