Emergency services responded to a fire on Farmfield Road in %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% this morning (Wednesday, 18 June), prompting a significant multi-agency presence just after 9am.

Multiple police vehicles, along with fire and ambulance crews, were seen at the scene. The incident involved three people suffering from smoke inhalation, one of whom was taken to hospital.

London Ambulance Service Statement

A %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed:

"We were called at 9.03am today (18 June) to reports of a %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% on Farmfield Road, Bromley.
We sent multiple resources, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, a clinical team manager, and HART paramedics.

"We treated three people for smoke inhalation. One patient was taken to hospital for further treatment. The other two were discharged at the scene."

Cause of Fire Under Investigation

The Metropolitan Police and %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% have been contacted for further details on the cause and extent of the fire. At this time, no information has been released regarding structural damage or the source of the blaze.

The area remained cordoned off for some time as emergency crews dealt with the incident.
