Five-Year-Old Boy Rushed to Hospital After Fall from Height in Dagenham

Emergency services rushed to Church Elm Lane, Dagenham this afternoon after a five-year-old boy fell from height, sparking a major emergency response.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed they were called at 2:31pm following reports of the incident.

Multiple resources, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a paramedic in a fast response car, and London’s Air Ambulance, were dispatched.

An LAS spokesperson said:
“Our first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes.
We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre by road.”

The Metropolitan Police were alerted to the incident shortly after, at 2:32pm, and attended alongside ambulance crews. Officers confirmed that the boy was taken to hospital for treatment.

Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A Met Police spokesperson added:
“There have been no arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
