Emergency services were called to a shop on Northcote Road in Clapham Junction this afternoon (Wednesday, December 18) following reports of an assault on a staff member.
Police and Ambulance Response
London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed receiving a call at 2:41 PM and dispatching resources, including an ambulance crew and a member of their Tactical Response Unit, to the scene. A spokesperson for LAS said:
“Our crews assessed a male patient, before releasing him at the scene.”
The Metropolitan Police also attended after being alerted at 2:32 PM, noting that the victim declined further medical care. A spokesperson for the police said:
“Officers were called to a shop in Northcote Road, Clapham Junction, at 14:32hrs following reports that a member of staff had been assaulted.”
Investigation Ongoing
