Man Arrested After Violent Incident
West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service deployed multiple units to the scene on Great Horton Road. Officers detained a man in his 30s, who was reportedly armed with a knife. College security staff assisted in the arrest.
Police sources revealed a small gardening tool was seized at the scene. The suspect now faces multiple charges including assaulting two members of the public, attacking two emergency workers, racially-aggravated public order offences, and damaging a police vehicle.
Victims Hospitalised, Injuries Not Life-Threatening
Two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. The incident has left the college community shaken but security remains tight around the campus.
