Thames Valley Police have launched an urgent appeal after two sexual assaults and a stalking incident linked to Slough's busy London Line 702 bus.

%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% images have been released showing a man who officers believe may hold crucial information. The incidents happened in January, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%%, and May 2025, sparking public concern across Berkshire.

In January and March, a woman was sexually assaulted — touched inappropriately over her clothing — while travelling on the 702 bus route from London to %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%.

On 2 May, the same %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% tried to sit beside the victim. After being blocked, he later followed her off the bus on Wellington %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% and tried to engage her in conversation, causing her significant distress. Thankfully, a passerby intervened, and the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%% was able to escape safely.

Detective Constable Rebecca Allibone, who is leading the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_6%%, said:

I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in these CCTV images to get in touch, as he may have vital %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_7%%

Police have stepped up patrols in Slough and are urging anyone with information to contact them by calling 101, quoting reference 43250216796, or by contacting %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_8%% anonymously.

Superintendent Kelly Gardner, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_9%% Police’s lead for stalking cases, said the force is committed to using Stalking Protection Orders to prevent further harm.
