A man has been arrested following a violent incident at the Argos Kingfisher Distribution Centre in Croydon, where he allegedly stabbed a security guard and injured three other staff members.
Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance, were scrambled to the site shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
It is understood that the man gained access to the distribution centre by tricking security into buzzing him in, falsely claiming he worked for Argos. Suspicion was raised shortly after his entry, prompting a security guard to confront him. The suspect then attacked the security guard with a knife.
