A man in his 40s was attacked with a crowbar in Bow on Tuesday evening, prompting an emergency response from police and paramedics.

Incident Details

Police were called at 5:40 PM to reports of a violent assault on Eric Street, Bow. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from head injuries. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service provided immediate medical assistance before transporting him to the hospital.

Thankfully, his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, and he was discharged shortly after receiving treatment.

Arrests and Investigation

A man in his 30s and a 16-year-old were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). Both suspects remain in police custody as the investigation continues.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the attack or has information to come forward.
