Police are investigating a stabbing in Lensbury Way, SE2, after a man in his 40s was found with stab injuries. Emergency services were called to the scene at 8:46am on Wednesday morning following reports of an assault.

Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene. The injured man received immediate medical attention and was transported to the hospital. Police are currently awaiting an update on his condition.

Teenager Arrested

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident. He has been taken into police custody for questioning. Authorities have not yet confirmed the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. But one resident has claimed that the child was trying to protect his father from four men who were attacking him.

Ongoing Investigation

Detectives are continuing their enquiries to establish what led to the assault. A crime scene remains in place, and officers are appealing for any witnesses or those with information to come forward.
