A man was struck with a bottle during an altercation at Bexleyheath station on the morning of December 19, police have confirmed.
The incident occurred at around 11:30am in the station’s waiting room on the platform, where two men were reportedly involved in a heated argument. The confrontation escalated, leading to one man being attacked with a bottle.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating the incident and believe the station was busy at the time. They are urging anyone who witnessed the altercation or has information about the incident to come forward.
A BTP spokesperson said:
“We are appealing for witnesses who may have been in or around the waiting room at Bexleyheath station during the incident. If you saw or heard anything, please contact us as soon as possible.”
