Man Suffers Potentially Life-Changing Injuries in Thamesmead Stabbing

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following a stabbing in Thamesmead.
Police were called at 12:14pm on Tuesday, 5 August, to reports of an assault on Whernside Close, SE28.

Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% Ambulance Service. A man was found with a serious stab wound to his arm and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that the victim's injuries are being treated as "potentially life-changing."
A crime scene remains in place at Whernside Close, and officers continue to carry out enquiries in the area. No arrests have been made at this time.

The Met Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
