Kent Police are searching for a gunman after a woman was shot and killed in a pub car park on Valentine’s Night.
Officers are investigating whether jealousy was a potential motive behind the fatal shooting, which took place in a village in Kent. The suspect, believed to be the woman’s former partner who is a moth of two, remains at large as police continue their manhunt.

According to witnesses, the gunman fired two shots from inside a vehicle before stepping out and firing a third shot as the victim lay gravely injured on the ground. Despite desperate attempts by bystanders—including a pub customer who grabbed a defibrillator and performed CPR—the woman could not be saved.

The suspect, described as a local resident, fled the scene on foot. Armed police quickly responded, placing the village in lockdown as officers carried out house-to-house searches. The National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter was deployed to assist in the search.
