A man has been hospitalised after suffering a fall from height at Marble Arch Underground Station on Saturday night.
The emergency services were alerted to the scene on Oxford Street at approximately 8.41pm, with multiple ambulance resources and a trauma team dispatched to assist.
In a statement, the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed:
"We were called at 8.41pm yesterday (14 June) to reports of a person who had fallen from height at Marble Arch Underground Station, in Oxford Street.
We sent a number of resources including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene.
We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London's Air Ambulance.
We treated a patient for a head injury and took him to a major trauma centre."
The severity of the man's injuries has not yet been disclosed, and it remains unclear from what exact height the fall occurred.
Transport for London and %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% have not yet issued a statement.
Marble Arch station remained %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% to the public, but services were briefly disrupted during the emergency response.
