Kent Police are appealing for the public’s help following reports of unprovoked assaults by a group of men in Maidstone town centre.
The incident occurred at around 2:25am on 8 December 2024, in Week %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%, where four people were reportedly physically assaulted by unknown suspects. One of the victims, a man, was allegedly beaten and required hospital treatment for facial injuries. Additionally, two %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% were assaulted, with one of them being pushed against a wall before her bag and phone were thrown to the floor.
Following a thorough investigation, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% images have been recovered showing four men, who officers are now trying to identify and speak to in connection with the assaults. The %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% are urging anyone who may recognize the individuals or who has information related to the incident to come forward.
Detective Constable Emma Fitzgerald, who is leading the investigation, said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack on multiple victims in a busy part of %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% town centre. We are keen to speak to the men in the CCTV images, as they may have valuable information that could assist with our %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%%.
