Police have launched a public appeal to help locate a 67-year-old man who has been reported missing from Lewisham.
The man, known as Orlando, was last seen on Friday, April 12, and officers say they are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Orlando is described as having very long dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit with green hospital trousers underneath.
The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone who sees Orlando or has any information on his whereabouts to call 999 immediately, quoting reference 4759/12APR25. Alternatively, non-urgent sightings or information can be reported via 101.
The appeal has also been shared across local social media channels, as officers continue to carry out enquiries in the area.
Police have not specified where in Lewisham Orlando was last seen, but said efforts are ongoing to trace his movements and ensure he is safe.
Appeal for Vigilance
Missing persons cases involving elderly or vulnerable individuals often prompt widespread community support. Officers are asking residents in Lewisham and surrounding areas to check gardens, outbuildings, and public places, and to keep an eye out, particularly in parks, transport hubs, or places Orlando may be familiar with.
Anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from Friday that may assist with the investigation is also encouraged to come forward.
