Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a significant property fire on Bruce Road in East London after receiving multiple calls reporting large flames and explosions this evening.
The London %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% Brigade have sent six fire engines and around 40 firefighters to the scene following reports of a blaze engulfing a property, with flames visibly shooting from the rear garden and spreading to the rear three floors of the town house.
Witnesses in the area described hearing a series of explosions, with one neighbor claiming that a gas cylinder had exploded.
The intense fire and loud bangs have left residents shaken, with many gathering outside to assess the situation as emergency crews %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% to bring the fire under control.

A source at the scene for London Fire Brigade stated, "We received numerous calls regarding a fire at a residential property in %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%%. Crews arrived promptly and are currently tackling the blaze.
The cause of the fire, as well as the reported explosions, is under %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%%."
