Kent Police’s ongoing crackdown on shoplifting has led to 22 charges being brought against a suspected offender in Swale.
Incident Details
- Between December 2024 and early January 2025, multiple shoplifting offences were reported at Morrisons in Milton Regis, Sittingbourne.
- Stolen items allegedly included meat, cheese, alcohol, household goods, and hygiene products.
Arrest and Charges
- Following enquiries, neighbourhood officers arrested a suspect on Saturday, 11 January 2025, in Court Road, Sittingbourne.
- Shelley Earnshaw, 31, was subsequently charged with:
- Multiple theft offences
- Breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order that prohibited her from entering the store
- Ms. Earnshaw was remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 January.
