A police pursuit in Park Royal Road, W3, led to a fatal collision early on Monday, 7 October, outside Central Middlesex Hospital.

At approximately 5:25 a.m., a car that was being pursued by police collided near the hospital. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, attended the scene.

 

Three males, all occupants of the vehicle, were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the individuals, a 17-year-old male, subsequently died from his injuries. The other two occupants remain hospitalised, with one in critical condition and the other not believed to be seriously injured.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing, and road closures remain in effect in the area. The Metropolitan Police’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed, and a referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), which will carry out an independent investigation.
