Tragedy struck Sutton High Street around 7.08pm on Tuesday, December 5, as police were called to a horrific scene following reports of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old boy grievously wounded with stab injuries.

Despite immediate medical attention provided by the London Ambulance Service at the scene, the young victim tragically succumbed to his injuries. The unfortunate event has left the community in shock and mourning.
As of now, efforts are being made to locate and inform the next of kin of the deceased teenager, a task that adds a poignant layer to this already distressing situation.

In the wake of this incident, authorities have yet to make any arrests, suggesting that the perpetrator or perpetrators are still at large. A Spokesman for the Met Police Said:
Police were called to Sutton High Street at about 19:08hrs on Tuesday 5 December, following reports that a teenager had been stabbed.
On arrival officers found a 17-year-old boy suffering with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service but sadly died as a result of his injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.
No arrests have been made.
A number of road closures have been put in place at the location, including a full closure of Sutton Train Station.
An urgent investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing.
