Terror suspect arrested at Stanstead Airport
Officers from the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command have arrested a 41-year-old woman on suspicion of possession of a document likely to be useful for the purposes of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000. They arrested the woman under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act at Stansted Airport at approximately 5pm today. She was attempting to board an outbound flight to Sweden. The woman is currently in custody at a south London police station.
