A13 Rainham Crash Leaves Two Dead, One Seriously Injured
One of the most severe collisions occurred on the A13 in Rainham on February 14 at around 4:30pm, where two vehicles collided on the eastbound approach near the Ferry Lane Interchange.

- Two men, one in his early 40s (a passenger) and another in his mid-40s (a driver), died at the scene despite emergency medical intervention.
- Another driver, also in his mid-40s, was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

M20 Kent: 71-Year-Old Man Killed After Being Hit by Van
Later that night, at around 10:20pm, a 71-year-old man was struck and killed on the M20 after exiting his vehicle on the hard shoulder between junctions 8 and 9 (coastbound).
Crash details:
- The victim had stopped his blue Kia on the hard shoulder.
- After exiting the car, he was hit by an Iveco box van and was pronounced dead at the scene.
- A female passenger in the Kia sustained minor injuries.
- The van driver is assisting police with the investigation.

On the morning of February 15, emergency services were alerted to a collision between a car and a van on the A12 Eastern Avenue East, near Gallows Corner, at around 8:30am.
