Two men have been charged in connection with a series of tyre thefts from vehicles at a car dealership in Aylesford. The arrests followed a swift %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% by Kent Police.
Incident Details
Police were called to Sytner Land Rover %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%%, located on the Quarry Wood Estate, at 11:37 pm on 1 May 2024, after a report that spare tyres had been removed from several vehicles parked on the forecourt.
Officers arrived at the scene within 10 minutes and pursued the suspects on foot. Two men were subsequently arrested in connection with the thefts.
Charges
William Moses, 22, of Beech Gardens in Headcorn, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%, and Harry Cadwallider, 28, of Langley Way in Kings Hill, West Malling, have both been charged with:
- %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% from a motor vehicle.
- Going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle.
The two suspects have been released on conditional bail and are scheduled to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% on 17 February and 28 February 2025, respectively.
