West Mercia Police have charged a man with murder following a fatal incident in Shrewsbury last week.
Kai Sainz-Stafford, aged 24 and of no fixed abode, remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 5 May.
The charge relates to an incident late on Thursday, 1 May, when emergency services were called to Lambourn Drive, Shrewsbury at around 11:58pm.
A 34-year-old man was found critically injured and later pronounced dead.
Police Investigation Ongoing
West Mercia Police continue to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Court Appearance
Sainz-Stafford is expected to make his first appearance at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court where the case will likely be referred to the Crown Court for further hearings.
