Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Serious Crime Division have launched an investigation after a triple stabbing incident left three people with severe injuries in Dagenham. Emergency services were alerted to reports of multiple persons being stabbed at a location on 1st Avenue around 5:20 pm on Friday.
A large police cordon has been established at both ends of 1st Avenue as officers work to secure the scene. Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), and the London Air Ambulance, responded to the scene promptly.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a significant number of emergency vehicles and large amounts of medical equipment scattered across the road as trauma doctors and ambulance crews treated the victims. The three individuals who sustained injuries have been transported to major trauma centres, although this information remains unconfirmed as authorities work to verify details.
The London Ambulance Service is yet to release a statement regarding the conditions of those involved, and authorities have not confirmed the total number of resources deployed to the scene. It is currently unclear if any arrests have been made in connection with the attack, and police are expected to provide further updates.
Residents are urged to avoid the area while officers continue their investigation. Authorities are appealing for anyone with information or footage that may assist their inquiries to come forward.
