A group of drug dealers from Bexley and Greenwich have been jailed for their involvement in a county lines operation supplying crack cocaine and heroin from Stratford into West Surrey and Hampshire.
The operation, which began in March 2023, involved coordinated raids at homes in London, Surrey, and Hampshire, resulting in nine arrests. Following an extensive investigation by teams from Surrey, Sussex, and the Metropolitan Police, the network members have now been sentenced to a combined total of 34 years in prison.
Sentences Handed Down
- Ross Bannister, 30, from Greenwich, was convicted of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and sentenced to nine years and four months.
- Abraham Musoke, 29, from Bexley, acted as a courier for the network and received a sentence of six years and nine months.
- Jamie Smith, 31, from Greenwich, a local controller, was jailed for three years and one month.
Other convictions included:
- Billy Cross, 25, from Basildon, sentenced to nine years and four months for his role in supplying Class A drugs.
- Paul Skabarntsky, 29, of no fixed address, and Liam Neylon, 27, from Farnham, both local controllers, received sentences of three years and one month and three years and nine months, respectively.
- Runners Noella Facer, 50, from Farnborough, Bean Pearce, 28, from Alton, and Kerry Pearce, 59, from Alton, were given two-year suspended sentences.
Police Response
Police emphasized their commitment to dismantling criminal networks that exploit vulnerable people and bring harm to communities.
PC Ed Bush said:
“All these individuals are part of a system that preys on the vulnerable and brings nothing but misery to our communities. Every day, we are working to identify who they are and disrupt their networks. I hope this case shows that it doesn’t matter how long it takes – we will find you.”
Asset Seizure
Authorities will now pursue the seizure of any assets gained through the network’s illegal activities.
Public Appeal
The police are encouraging the public to report any suspicious activity related to drug supply or concerns about individuals vulnerable to exploitation by gangs. Information can be shared with the police directly or anonymously.
