Kilburn Stabbing Leaves Teen with Life-Changing Injuries in Daylight Attack
Teenager stabbed outside flats in sixth knife incident in a month
An 18-year-old boy has been left with life-changing injuries after being stabbed in broad daylight outside a block of flats in Kilburn, North West London.
The attack occurred at approximately 5:55pm on Saturday, 21 June on the Templar House estate on Shoot-Up Hill, just minutes from Kilburn Tube station.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. The teenager was airlifted to hospital with multiple stab wounds. Police later confirmed that his injuries, while not life-threatening, are considered life-changing.
Six Knife Incidents in Kilburn Since May
This latest stabbing is the sixth knife-related incident in Kilburn in the past month, prompting renewed concerns from residents and community leaders.
Previous incidents include:
- A double stabbing on Buckley Road
- A man slashed in the face on Kilburn High Road
- Other violent altercations reported between May 21 and May 30
Despite heightened police activity, no arrests have yet been made in connection with Saturday’s attack.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
Police were called at 17:55hrs on Saturday, 21 June to reports of a stabbing in Kilburn. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and located an 18-year-old male with stab injuries.
He was taken to hospital by air ambulance. His injuries have since been confirmed as life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries continue.
Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the stabbing, or has relevant CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage, to come forward.
