Firefighters Scrambled to Dagenham Flat Blaze at Kerwin House

London Fire Brigade crews have been scrambled to a fire in Kerwin House, located on Chequers Lane in Dagenham, following reports of a cooking-related fire and heavy smoke logging inside a residential flat.

Firefighters were dispatched alongside an aerial ladder platform to tackle the incident, which was reported via just after 3.20pm this afternoon (Monday 30th June 2025)

Crews are understood to be dealing with a cooking fire that spread smoke throughout the property.
